Hiro curled up in his bed, the cold air causing goosebumps to rise on his arms. It had been a week since the death of his brother, Tadashi, and the pain Hiro felt was only getting deeper. He felt like it was him who had died, not Tadashi. He had spent the week alone in his own sorrow stuffing himself full of pastries to comfort himself, only to turn around with his head in the toilet puking. He knew he shouldn't be eating so much that he got sick, but he couldn't help it. It was his comfort.

That's what he was doing now, opening up a tub of cookies a neighbor had given him and Aunt Cass as a condolence. They smelled so good, and they were homemade. He picked one up and examined it, taking in a familiar smell. He wondered if he should eat it, he had already stuffed himself full of brownies, he wasn't feeling so well. He shook his head anyway, and took a bite into the cookie, savoring the rich flavor. He froze softly, a funny feeling was starting to form in his mouth and he quickly spit the cookie out, eyes widening.

P-Peanuts. He thought as he dropped the tub of cookies on the floor, his throat instantly becoming itchy and swelled up. Curse him and his damn peanut allergy. It may have been a light one, but eating just the right amount could be fatal to him, like it was now. He pushed his way to his computer desk, pulling the drawers open in a desperate attempt to find his EpiPen. Damn it! He thought with tears in his eyes, finally recognizing what the familiar smell was. Why did he never listen to Tadashi?!

He coughed, tears in his eyes as he threw papers, notebooks, and blueprints on the floor in a desperate attempt to find his life savior. His eyes rolled back into his head at the pain and he sunk to the floor coughing. His vision was blurring, the world becoming a distorted mess around him as he gasped for air. He felt like a fish with no water trying to breathe, he was suffocating. He let out a loud cry of pain, the world blacked out until there was nothing but dead silence.

Black.

That was all he saw as his eyes painfully opened, the world around him swirling until a bright light entered his vision. He sat up, holding onto his throbbing head. He looked around the room and blinked in confusion, where was he? Why was he suddenly in a girls room? Why were the walls covered in gray wallpaper with black skulls? Why was there a black dresser with pictures frames of a girl on top? Where the hell was he?! “Ugh. Where am I?” He muttered softly, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

“Well...” Came a quiet voice from behind him and he whipped around quickly, looking at a head of (h/l) (color) hair. “Right now, it seems like your waiting for my dad. He works in his office at the other end of the hallway, and the line is so long right now its stretched back here into my room.” Hiro took in black clothing and looked at her face.

“Your... dad?” Hiro questioned. “Who's your dad? Who are you?”

The girl blinked her bright (color) eyes, the big orbs flashing a bright red before returning to their original color. “Oh, him.” Was all she said before she hopped off her bed, walking towards the dresser before snagging a dark black picture frame (all of them were black) with red gems around the border. She thrusted the picture frame at him and pointed to the tall figure next to her. “His name is Grim.” She murmured quietly. “Grim Reaper, but I call him Dad or Tom. But you have to call him Grim Reaper, got it?” She smiled and patted his head. “Oh, and I'm (Name).”

Hiro's heart stopped in his chest and he gasped, his hand moving to cover his gaping mouth. “Y-Your dad... is t-the Grim Reaper?” He asked her so suddenly, taking her shoulders in his hands before shaking her. “A-Am I dead?!” He nearly screeched but kept his voice down trying not to hurt her ears.

She rolled her eyes and snorted, shoving his hands off her shoulders. Hiro took in her appearance, noticing she was very cute. She was a whole head shorter than he was, her (color) eyes flashing a red before melting back into their previous color, her (color) hair tied up into a messy bun while pieces of hair were flying everywhere to frame her face. Hiro watched her soft lips purse with annoyance, light freckles noticeable on the bridge of her nose. “Don't be such a puss.” She sneered.

Hiro jumped at her rudeness and shivered at her honey-like voice as it traveled down his spine. “W-What?”

“Don't be a puss!” She snapped again, growling at him in annoyance. “You could have prevented this meeting with him, but it was your fault.” She stated with a grunt.

Hiro shook his head and hissed. “How was I supposed to know the cookies were made of peanuts?”

“You smelled them didn't you?” She asked quietly, checking her black painted nails.

“Y-Yeah...”

“Didn't heed Tadashi's warnings, did ya?”

At the sound of his late brothers name, Hiro froze and stared at her. An idea sparked into his mind and he grabbed the girls shoulders again. “Have you met Tadashi?”

“Course I did.” She smiled fondly. “He and I chatted for about two hours until Tom told him to step up. Such a nice boy.” She patted his shoulder. “He told me about you.”

Hiro searched her eyes, tears in his own. “I never asked you, but, am I going to die?”

“Well... theoretically speaking... you are already dead.” She murmured quietly before looking deep into his eyes. “But now... now is the time that matters the most... your kind of in limbo but not. If something can magically save you before you have a meeting with Tom, then you escape Cerberus.”

“Uh... Cerberus?”

“Oh!” She giggled and stuck two fingers in her mouth, a shrill whistle coming out as she blew. There was a thump before paws scraped across the floor. A huge dog with three heads came barreling into the room, slobber running down all three of its chins. Around his neck was a thick black studded collar with a skull head dangling like a tag, the name 'Cerberus' etched in red. “Ah! Down boy!” (Name) shouted, laughing a bunch when the terrifying dog (dogs?) leaped on her, nearly knocking her down.

Hiro watched the beast lick all over (Name)'s face with a curious glance. Three-headed dog? He'd finally seen it all. He smiled when he saw her pet the beasts head and cooing at it like it was a cute little puppy. Cerberus let out a howl and threw all three heads back before bolting out the room. “What's he doing?”

“Well... looks like someone just finally bit the dust... and it seems like we've been talking for three hours.” She murmured, checking her watch. “Seems like to me you might have enough time for someone to come save you, Tom's only gotten through three people at this rate.” She murmured softly, rambling on about how may people 'Tom' possibly had left to see.

Hiro took a brave step forward and grabbed her face in his hands, pressing a kiss to her sweet lips, tasting her savory flavor. She tasted, surprisingly, like cake and cherries, and he couldn't get enough of it. (Name)'s eyes widened before they fluttered shut, her lips melding back into his in sync, her arms coming up to wrap around his neck. He couldn't believe it, he had fallen for her, and hadn't even known her for that long, but she was just... so cute.

(Name) let out a soft moan and pulled away, licking her lips with a grin on her face. “Oh man. I'll admit it, you got some big balls to kiss the daughter of death.”

Hiro smiled cheekily and kissed her again, his fingers ghosting over her hips. She ran a hand through his fluffy black hair, her tongue hesitantly swiping over his plump lips. He smirked and opened up, his tongue receding into his mouth, luring her tongue in closer before he started battle. (Name) ended up losing, and she allowed him to explore her mouth until he got bored.

Pulling back, Hiro snickered at her embarrassed face. “I can't help myself, you're just so cute.”

“Thanks. You're not that bad of a looker yourself.” She smiled cheekily and ran a thumb over his cheek.

“(Name).” Hiro murmured softly, biting his lip. If he had balls for kissing her, then he had some real deep balls for what he was about to do. He swallowed softly and looked into her eyes. “I think...” He started. “I think I love you.”

Her eyes snapped open wide and she looked into his light brown eyes. “H-Hiro... I-I...”

Hiro put a finger to her lips and hugged her gently to him. He put his nose in her hair and breathed deeply. She smelled really good, really good. “You don't have to say you love me, but I know I like you a lot.”

Beep.

Hiro flinched and looked around. “What was that noise?” He asked softly.

“Huh? What noise?”

“I just heard something, it sounded like a beep.”

Beep.

He looked around again before letting (Name) go. He felt tingly all of a sudden, like he was coming back to life. “What's happening to me? I feel tingly.” He asked her, gripping her shoulders.

“Well...” She said again, tapping her finger to her lips. “From the way your body feels 'tingly', and the fact that your skin seems to becoming more transparent, you might be coming back to life. It's your lucky day?”

“B-But... I don't want to leave you.”

“We'll see each other soon. I promise.” She smiled and gave him a hug, planting her lips on his cheek before giving him a hard kiss on the mouth.

“Do you mean it?”

“I'm death's daughter, I always mean it.” She smiled and winked before stepping back.

Hiro's eyes slowly opened, the bright light making his eyes hurt as he sat up. He let out a cough and hurriedly wiped his eyes. A face in front of his made him jump. “Baymax?!”

“Hello Hiro!” Baymax said quite cheerfully, placing a hand on his leg. “How are you feeling?”

“My chest hurts.”

“That is a normal side effect for having a severe allergic reaction.”

“Yeah buddy, I know. Say, do you know where my EpiPen is?”

“It is under your pillow.”

“Roses.” Hiro said softly, blinking up at Baymax from the confines of his hospital bed.

“Roses?” Baymax responded curiously.

“She smelled like roses.” Hiro whispered, finally recognizing what (Name) had smelled like.
