Do you remember that fear you had when you were a child? You were scared of the dark, scared of spiders, scared of clowns even. More importantly you were scared of being alone for such a long time. It was terrifying, you hated being alone.
Like now.
When you came to, you were in a cold, chilly cell all alone. Your clothes were ripped and torn, your hair was matted and dirty, and you were underweight.
Alive? Yes.
Miserable? Of course.
Turning over in your 'bed', you let out a painful sigh and held your stomach softly, the gurgling noises growing louder and louder with each passing moment. How long had it been since you had clean clothes and fast food? You gnawed softly on your lip when one of the guards walked up to your cell and banged on the bars.
“You have a visitor.” He snarled disgusted at you. You rolled over and looked up as the door to the cell opened and in came a rather familiar figure. You sat up and rubbed your dry eyes softly with a small sigh.
“Oi! (Name), is that you?” A rather calm voice asked softly, soft footsteps coming towards you. You looked up and gasped aloud, clapping a hand over your mouth in shock.
Bright green eyes stared down at you in curiosity, and the smile on his face dropped when he saw your emaciated form. “Doctor?” You asked softly, voice weak and scratchy. A few moments passed before your shock turned to anger. “Get the hell away from me!” You growled, avoiding his mesmerizing eyes.
“(Name).” The Doctor said, obviously hurt by your tone. “How did you get here?” He lowered his voice so the guard couldn't hear him.
You looked up with tears shining in your dull eyes. “The angels.” You whispered, pressing your lips together in a frown. “I had to blink.”
The Doctor's soft hands framed your face and he kissed your nose softly. “I'm so sorry. I'm going to get you out of here.” He whispered softly before kissing your forehead and moving back towards the guard.
You sniffled softly and brushed your tears away before pulling your knees to your chest, licking your dry lips as the Doctor tried to convince the guard to release you. You watched as the Doctor pulled out his psychic paper and held it up with an anger facial expression.
The guard bit his lip softly and sighed, moving over to you and unlocking the shackles from your ankles. “I am sorry Mrs.” He apologized. “I did not realize you were the fair maiden of the Duke, please forgive my stupid mistake.”
You smiled as he helped you up, and kissed your knuckles before letting you walk away with the Doctor. Taking one last look at the guard, you grabbed the Doctor's hand and ran.
You crashed into the Doctor's back as he hurriedly unlocked the TARDIS and shoved you in, closing it quickly with a soft sigh. You looked around the TARDIS as she whirred happily, glowing brightly as you laid a hand on her wall. “I missed you too.” You murmured softly before turning those happy eyes on the Doctor.
“You should be lucky I got to you in time, they were days away from executing you.” He murmured, setting his hands softly on your shoulders with a soft look. “I want you to meet... a friend of mine, but I'll let you go get changed and shower.”
“OK.”
----
With some help from the TARDIS, you found your old room, and the memories swirled in your head. You smiled slightly as you pulled your wardrobe open, and searched the clothes. After choosing a blue sleeveless shirt, black jeans, and blue flats, you moved into the washroom, stripping of your clothes before climbing into the warm shower.
Standing there in the warm water sent a chill down your spine. The Doctor indeed found someone else. He just went ahead and moved on, but you never did.
Shaking your wet hair, you dry yourself off before slipping into the clothes you chose. The TARDIS provided you with your old hair supplies, and you smiled when she played one of your favorite songs. Curling the last piece of hair, you looked into the mirror, smiling at the reflection before moving out into the console room.
“Ah there she is!” The Doctor smiled when he saw you and motioned you over, wrapping his arm around you when you did. “Captain Jack Harkness, meet (Name).”
----
Laying your head on your pillow, you stared up at the ceiling of the TARDIS, watching the ceiling change from white to twinkling stars. You had to speak to the Doctor soon, but what would you say...?
'Hey Doctor, I want to travel with you again, but can you please forget that I love you, I wouldn't want my feelings to push us apart again.'
Pulling the covers tightly around you, you closed your eyes. You'd deal with this issue in the morning.

11th Doctor x Reader Why?
This will be done in the Doctor's perspective
*Doctor's POV*
It had been awhile since Amy left, and I have picked up a new companion since then. She's amazing, she's different and I love it!
She never really complains when we land somewhere different and she rarely runs off.
That's why I'm very protective of her, (Y/n),my (Y/n). I've been wanting to take her somewhere special. But every time I try we always end up somewhere I didn't want to take her.
She never minded though, I loved watching that smile of hers when ever we got to go on an adventure.
The last adventure we went on I almost lost her and I tried to take her back home but sh
